Boy, are my plates spinning! What a month ahead.

As I mentioned last time, my final 2026 book release is due out in November. I've pushed back the date a couple of weeks, because frankly, my plates are spinning. If I let go of one, they're all gonna crash. So, watch for Cinder Smudged, my Great Depression retelling of Cinderella releasing right before Thanksgiving. AND it'll be a terrific Thanksgiving read, as that holiday is featured in the story.

I will post you a week or so before so you can grab the preorder and have it arrive on time for holiday reading.

On the Road!

As you read this, I'm probably pulling out of my driveway for the 6-7 hour drive to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the Novel Lattes Christian and Clean Book Festival.

As per usual, I don't think I'm 100% ready, but my car is packed with books, stands, banners, and snacks. I hope I remembered to pack my jammies and toothbrush... Pretty sure I did. I'm excited to meet up with a host of other authors, many whom I've never met before in person. AND, I'm looking forward to sharing an AirBnB with Pegg Thomas (Michigan author) and Candice Patterson (Indiana author). I enjoy road trips. It's a good time to get alone with God and listen to His voice. Thank you ahead of time for prayers that mine and everyone else's travels will go smoothly!

Locals!

I'll no sooner get home from South Dakota, and I'll have to reorganize and count books to bring to this event right here at home. If you're in my neighborhood, I hope I see you there!

Lastly, here's a look into a day last week full of mental chaos, fall frolic, and a brief reading from Sibella's Stand.

With her husband's fate unknown and time running out, Sibella's survival requires more than waiting to be rescued. It demands taking a stand.

That's it for this month! I'll talk to you soon. Here, there, or in the air!
